Salomon Render Tests Round 2

I'll be updating this page with more stills and playblasts as I get them done. Plot Twist, Playblast file size is too big.

  1. In the image you have right now, the fadeness of the surrounding building and yours are different, especially when looking at the grey shadow of the city. One way I can think of is using vray fog. I am not quite sure whether the vrayGroSun has this property, but a normal vray rectagular light / maya spotlight has this option. The second way is rendering with material ID and using that channel as a cover overlay on your composition in After Effects.

    Add `Material ID` Channel:
    1. Vray Settings > Render Elements > Add `Material ID`
    2. Select a material in hypershade > See `Attribute Editor` > `Attributes` Menu > `VRay` > Check `Material ID` (Do this to all wanted materials)
    3. `Attribute Editor` > `Extra VRay Attributes Section` > `Material ID`

Playblast files are too large. You can try a software named oCam to do short screenshoting with a smaller size.

Overall, the camera angle is great.
